2. Ri-Bhoi Synod C.E. Union

(i). Mission and Evangelism: Synod have the following 16 Home Mission/Mission Fields
This Home Mission was at the District Kamrup of Assam. The Communities which include within this home were DimapurBasti, NewarBasti, ShillongBasti and Shiv MadinBasti. In this Mission Field, there were only 500 homes and the races of people residing have were the Nepali, Assamese, Baro, Bihari, Bengali, Karbi, Rabha and Adivasi, Chrishans has only 18 homes besides all these, there are also Hindus and some are Muslims peoples in this place were ready to listen to the good news of the Gospel and at the same time very welcoming to their homes, but inspite of all these things, if was very slow for them to get into conversion to Christianity. Up till naw, the home Mission has no Quarter for the Mission Worker to stay and Smti. RedseaPaslein was the Mission Worker of the Home Mission.
This Home Mission include these villages- Amphreng, Amdubighat, Panbari (Refugee Colony), Orlong Chubu. The Communities residing in this Home Mission are the Tiwa, Karbi, Asamese, Bengali and Garo. There are 222 houses and 42 christian and 180 non-christian. And Mr.BrolinMadur,was the Mission Worker in this Home Mission.
This Home Mission was in Block- II Karbi-Anglong. The Village falls under this Home Mission are the Laru, Mawshaladiang bad Umsohphoh. The Communities residing here are the Nepalese and Karbis. Kiba bun deiki Hindu bad tang khyndiat eh kiKhristan. There are 435 houses in this Home Mission and 13 Christian houses. And Mr.JeevanBhujelwas the Mission Worker in this Home Mission.
This Home Mission was in Block- II Karbi-Anglong. The Village falls under this Home Mission are theJatalong-Nepali, kaUmlaperIew, Nongkare, Langhunjar, Ummat, Rongthiang. The Communities residing here are the Khasis, Karbis& Nepalese. There are200houses in this Home Mission and 34 Christian houses. And Mr.LabinoKolitawas the Mission Worker in this Home Mission.
This Home Mission was under the area of the Ri-BhoiMihngi Presbytery it include these Village - Klew, MawnohsynrumKyllapomti, Umraling, Mawlwai, SohliyaandLapudui. The Communities residing in this Home Mission are the Khasis, NepaleseandKarbi. Majority of the people residing are the Christian and few of them are the non-Christian. And Mr.RilangSuchiang was the Mission worker in this home Mission. Mission Worker ha kaneka Home Mission bad la kyrshantulop da kaRi-BhoiSepngi Presbytery.
This Home Mission was at the Block II of KarbiAnglong. The Communities which include within this Home Mission were MadanUmwang, Umpaklong, jatalong and Umsohphah – Umwang the races of people residing in these localities were the Nepali, the Khasis and the Karbis. There were make than 300 homes of the Nepali residing here who are not Christians. Within this Home Mission there were 150 homes, the Catholics, the Presbyterians, Church of God, Church of Baptist and the Fellowing. Up till now, the home Mission has no Quarter for the Mission Worker to stay and Tbn. D.D. Lamarewas the Mission Worker of the Home Mission.
This Home Mission was at the Border of Meghalaya Assam under the NongtluhMathan Presbytery. The Communities which include within this home were Marmain, Khulia, Pisamhuru, Dondral, Markang, Khuswai, Ampriling, Umjaren, Ronghilik, Rongsahep, Ingjal bad Belkuri. In this Mission Field, there were only 461, 308 were the Christian Home and 153 were the non-Christian homes and the races of people residing have were the Karbi (Mikir). Up till naw, the home Mission has no Quarter for the Mission Worker to stay and Mr. ManuramTimungwas the Mission Worker of the Home Mission.
This Home Mission was at Raid Marngar, RiBhoi District. The Communities which include within this home were Umtham, Borgang, Sarigang, Borkhatsari, Borkhusi (Mawthlen), Nalapara, Sarikhusi, Lalumpam, Madanheh, Purangang, Naogang. In this Mission Field, there were only 900 homes and the races of people residing have were the Marngar and Mr. Rongskar Syiem and Mr. D. Lyngdoh Nonglait were the Mission Worker of the Home Mission.
This Home Mission includes these Villages -PhraMer, TamulKhushi, Narbong, Balian, Ronghana, Mukpur, and there are 587 houses in these villages. The communities residing in this Home Mission were the Khasis, Garos, Asamese, Nepalese, Biharis, Marwariand others. The religion practice by the people here are Christian, Hindus and others. Up till now there is no Quarter for the Mission Worker pat don ka Quarter Mission Worker andTbn. B.P. Lyngdohwasthe Mission worker in this Home Mission.
This Home Mission was at border ka don ha khappud Meghalaya Assam by the side of of the Umpli River, Kamrup District Assam. The Villages were – ArlokKongoh, Kasongmala, Bargasorong, Kolongpur, Amuri, Pisamhuru, Pithagog, Dondral, Marking, Bandorgog, Marlap, Magurshila.There are 808 houses, 377 Christian Home and 431 Non-Christian Home. The language spoken language of the people here are Asamese andKarbi. The Communities residing here was the Karbi-Dumaria and most the practice the Hindu religion. Up till now there was no Quarter for the Mission Worker to stay and the Mission Worker in this Home Mission was Mr.BopilInghi.
This Home Mission located in the area of the MawbuhSarikrai Presbytery besides the area of the RiBhoiSepngi Presbytery. The Villages within this Home Mission include the Makaleng, Mawbru, Umwiehsnieh, Umsohlait, Ksehkynjoin, Tiehwieh-Pahamdiengsiarand 15 Mer. The Communities residing in this Home Mission were the Nepalese and Khasis and they speak both Nepalese and Khasis. It has 95 house, 81 houses are Non-Christian and 14 house were Christian. Mr.KrikHujon was the Mission Worker who work in this Home Mission.
This Home Mission include the Amjong Village, Markhangduba, Kromboroh and New Amjong. There are 164 numbers of houses located within these villages and 31 of them are the Christian Home. The communities residing here were the Tiwa, Karbi, Asameseand some of the Khasi. And Mr.DerbiousKhymdeit was the Mission Worker Cum Teacher in this Home Mission
This Home Mission was at Block- II Karbi-Anglong. The villages falls under this Home Mission were the Umru, Umjaktad andRatel. The Communities located in this Home Mission are the Khasi, Nepali and Karbi.
This Home Mission the Synod has tie-up an agreement with kiKhunkaRangthong Presbytery (Rim) in Mission work. The Home Mission included these villages – Makdoh, New Makdoh, Ampriah, Kusubagan, Maska, Umthroh. There are 108 house, 68 Christian houses and 40 houses non-Christian. And Mr. PhresUmbah was the Mission Worker in this Home Mission.
(ii). Social Mission:
Kum ka jingpyrshang ban shakri ia ki para briew ka Synod ka la Seng ia ka Ri Bhoi Presbyterian Synod Children’s Home, Mawsyntai naduh ka 20th April 2017. Hapoh ka Home ki don 6 ngut ki nongtrei (staff) bad 11 ngut ki khynnah kiba donkam ia ka jingiarap kaba kyrpang (Child in need of care and protection).
